Designed and patented in 2004, the foam core with its resilient bounce and very quiet dynamic range ‘go to’ alternate to standard bundled rods for many years.  This proven design is now home as Stingers in the Headhunters line up.  There are 2 models available the ST11 and the ST12.

The ST11 are comprised of 11 bamboo dowels surrounding a foam core centre. They have a very active bounce and are designed for quiet sensitive playing where speed and some technical demands like double stoke rolls are needed.

The ST12 are comprised of 12 birch dowels surrounding a foam core centre.  They have a very active bounce and are designed for quiet sensitive playing where speed and some technical demands like double stoke rolls are needed. 

The Stinger ST4 Performance bundle drumstick features four bamboo slats surrounding a central foam core. The four bamboo slats are cased within a rubber sleeve which also aids grip when performing. Stinger drum sticks are a bundled rod concept built around a foam core which provides a quick response when playing. The Stinger range has been designed to feel like a conventional drumstick, but benefits from being much quieter. If you often perform in small, acoustic venues, you may benefit from Headhunter Stinger Drumsticks. Added impact protection at the tip of the drum stick will preserve your Stinger ST4's.
