Snareweight #5 is used for triple flange hoops while Snareweight #5+ Pro lock are used for Die Cast hoops.

The other feature that is sweet about Snareweight is that it adds mass to your drum head which helps to evenly smooth the lower-mid ringing frequencies that can't be reached with other methods. The high frequency unwanted ring is shaped by the chosen insert. Keeping all the frequencies present and level across the board will bring out the true tone of your drum shell for a smoother and richer sound.  The weight also adds 2-3 db of compression to your drum keeping it in the sweet spot of your mix.
