The Upcycled Percussion "Rattle Snake" is a multi-purpose mount, based off the classic chain-on-cymbal application for a sizzle effect. The "Trash Medallion" is a handmade metal stack - two pieces joined at the mounting point - that can attach to any cymbal via the Rattle Snake. One part trash stack, one part gnarly, oversized tambourine jingle, the Trash Medallion lives up to its name by adding a brash, sizzling edge to rides and crashes while also shortening the natural decay of the cymbal. The medallion is also great as a tone-altering effect on hi hats!

The Trash Medallion is not designed to be struck. It can be, however. It happens in the video even! Just use a light touch if you must. Don't bash it to death.

ABOUT THE RATTLE SNAKE
