Steel Guitar Arts Council Kick Off Party featuring Russ Pahl, Justin Schipper, Whitten, and Luke Schneider

Pleased to announce the Kick Off Party for the Steel Guitar Arts Council, an association to promote and foster the growth of steel players who bend and break the rules to express themselves.

It will be fun night with food and drink on premises and performances featuring these incredible steel players:

Russ Pahl

Legendary session player who’s recorded with Elton John, Tyler Childers, Robert Plant & Allison Krauss, Carrie Underwood, Norah Jones, Blake Shelton, Marcus King, Ceelo Green, Yola, Jim Lauderdale, Buddy Miller. Russ will be joined by Rounder Records recording artist Logan Ledger during his set.

Justin Schipper

A-list session player who’s recorded with Kacey Musgraves, Kelsea Ballerini, Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, Lauren Alaina, Mickey Guyton, Lady Antebellum, Chris Isaak, Ingrid Andress, and Cam. Justin recently released the first single Los Pajaros off his forthcoming solo pedal steel EP.

Whitten

A vibey instrumental band founded by steel player Whit Wright who plays with Thomas Rhett. Whitten is comprised of sought after East Nashville sidemen who have played with Yola, Midland, Lauren Morrow, Joshua Hedley, Kelsey Waldon, Kristina Murray.

Luke Scheider

East Nashville session player (Margo Price, Orville Peck, William Tyler, SG Goodman, Lilly Hiatt and Third Man recording artist who released a solo ambient album recorded entirely on pedal steel in 2020 called Altar Of Harmony.
