1970s Tama Imperialstar in Midnight Blue - 9x12, 10x13, 16x16, 16x18, 14x24

The sound of Stan Lynch! Imperialstars are such a great balance of warmth and power. These are the early iteration of the Imperial stars with a 9 ply mahogany shell with reinforcement rings all around and Zola Coat interiors. Wrap is tight on all of the drums. There’s some pitting that mostly presents itself on the sides of the lugs, mounts, and wing screws. Some additional oxidation and pitting on the kick claws and hoops. Some light scuffing on the wrap but overall quite clean! These drums sing and have original mounts, legs, t-rods, claws, spurs, and brackets. Most of the tension rods look original but there are some outliers that are slightly newer. All toms have the dual-action mufflers and they work splendidly. A smoking 2 up 2 down setup to satisfy almost any gig!
