1940s Slingerland 'Concert King' 3ply in Sparkling Gold - 7.5x14

A beauty of a drum in the tough to find Sparkling Gold! This 3 ply shell is in great shape with nice edges and clean interior. The wrap has some slight discoloration but no cracking or splitting, but does feature the uncommon depth of 7.5x14. Hardware overall shows wear to the plating and oxidation. Original tension rods all around. Stick chopper hoops have some roughness to the edges but no major damage. Three point throw is smooth but doesn’t hold as well as it could. Lugs show oxidation and deplating, but they don’t show much lifting at the rear. BUT THE SOUND. This drum sounds fantastic with a big, warm tone but also a nice snare response! A true beauty!
