1950/60s Slingerland in Black Diamond Pearl - 14x22, 16x16, 8x12

Great player's kit! Bass drum has a 1956-59 pre-serial badge, the toms are badgeless (as all Slingerland toms were through the mid 60s). 3 ply shells, mahogany/poplar/mahogany on the bass drum and floor tom, maple interior on the 12" tom. Overall a solid vintage Slingerland kit in Black Diamond Pearl. The wrap is pretty clean and looks great!

8x12 - Aug '63 Ink Stamp. No extra holes. Features Stick Saver hoops, original diamond bracket replaced with a 70s Slingerland mount using original holes. Internal muffler is complete and functional. Wrap is clean with no lifting. Inside of drum shows signs of moisture damage/stains. 

16x16 - Clean interior Inside is in much better condition (no moisture damage). No extra holes. Stick saver Hoops. Floor tom leg brackets have been replaced with spring adjusted WFL mounts. Internal muffler is there & functional. Wrap is in good condition with no seam lifting. 

14x22 -  Pre-serial black backed brass badge. Interior has been painted black. Later era Slingerland Set-O-Matic mount has been added. The original holes for the rail mount system and cymbal mount bass drum spurs have been plugged, as well as the original bass drum spur holes. Original spurs have been replaced with vintage style straight leg telescopic spurs. Original claws but 70's era T-Rods. Original hoops with black diamond inlay in good condition with minor nicks and dings.  Resonant head is an original and a tear has been repaired in the four o'clock position.
