This would have originally been equipped with one wood hoop and one standard hoop, allowing the player to use it as a standard bass drum, or to attach legs and use it as a cocktail drum. This particular drum has been converted for use as a bass drum exclusively with the addition of the second bass drum hoop and the lack of leg brackets. Do not dismay, though, because it is an absolute CANNON of a bass drum! One hoop is original with matching inlay fully intact. The added hoop has substantial paint loss and no inlay. 16x beavertail lugs have pretty heavy pitting. 16 T-rods and claws show some corrosion but aren't in terrible shape. Wrap is heavily yellowed and has some checking\/cracking along with a few larger splits and what looks like several cigarette burns on the badge panel. There is a little bit of lift on the seam but it isn't substantial. There are holes in several spots where the original brackets for use as a cocktail drum once were.
