This drum has been refurbished, but at it's core is a mid 60's 3 ply JazzFest, with a new lacquer finish in Fender's Fiesta Red Lacquer. The shell still shows it's age with some subtle splits in the outer ply in a couple of spots. the original grommet hole was tampered with, so it was plugged and redrilled, which can be seen from the inside. Interior is the original white paint, with some red overspray. The bearing edges have been touched up (leveled out and subtly adjusted, not fully recut), so the drum tunes very easily now. Most of the hardware is original - 8x bowtie lugs, 16x tension rods, the butt plate, snare wires, and the bottom hoop. The top hoop is a close replacement, and the strainer is a newer P-85. Muffler is missing, but the holes are there for a baseball bat style. Original 60's Ludwig badge, new grommet. Chrome has been cleaned, and shows minimal wear.
