1960s Slingerland 'Modern Solo Outfit' in Charcoal Satin Flame - 14x20, 16x16, 8x12, 8x12

One of the more rare satin flame finishes offered by Slingerland in the late 60's! 3-ply shells with reinforcement rings and chocolate milk interiors sound oh so sweet. Kit is all-original save for the heads and a single wing screw. This one is practically smoldering it's so hot!

14x22 - Serial No. 159713 - The wrap on this one has the most cosmetic issues. As is fairly common with satin flame wraps, there is some pretty substantial scratching and spiderwebbing throughout. The top left panel has some significant rash from the rack tom. Seams are tight and it still looks great from a short distance. 16x lugs are really clean, with just some very light pitting in spots. 16x t-rods and claws are in good shape, with some chrome loss on a handful of the rods. One of the original wing screws on the left spur bracket has been replaced with a DIY bolt but it functions just as well. Hoops are in overall good shape and inlays are both 100% intact. Comes with double clip tom arm. 

16x16 - Serial No. 156112 - Wrap has significant scratching and spiderwebbing but is fully intact and the seam is tight. 16x lugs are really clean with just some light scratching/haze. Stick-saver hoops are similarly very clean with just some scratches. Leg brackets are clean and wing screws all tighten down.Internal muffler is present and functioning. 

8x12 - Serial No. 159602 - Wrap on this one has a handful of scratches but has much more spider web cracking all the way around. Seam is tight. 12x lugs are in very good shape, with just a little bit of haziness on a couple that would easily polish out. Stick-saver hoops are also in very good shape. Clip mounting bracket present and very clean. Internal muffler present and functioning. 

8x12 - Serial No. 157866 - Unlike its twin, this one has more scratching and significantly less spiderwebbing. There is one spot on the batter side where the wrap is bulging out just a little bit above one lug. Lugs, hoops, bracket and muffler are all in great shape.
