Black and brass Niles Badge. Finish has a number of small chips, a couple of scratches and has uniform checking throughout. The blue is still vibrant and the silver is still silver, not yellowed as we often see. 8x center mounted lugs are clean but show some wear\/light pitting. Original rods and claws are in similar shape, with some wear and pitting. Cymbal arm bracket is there. The spur brackets were lowered at one point, likely to make them a little more functional, so the original holes are visible just above the brackets. Legs are replacements. Hoops have some wear\/paint loss and inlays are missing. A previous owner attached eggshell foam to the bottom of the shell using the lug mount screws. We left the foam in because it sounds pretty good! Original resonant logo head!\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e12x15 - Date stamp of Oct 64. The finish on this one has a few larger spots where the paint has chipped away and some scratches and discoloration. The silver has yellowed a bit on the outer edges. Push button leg brackets all work, though one has a screw in place of the button. It is secure and works as well as the other two brackets. Legs are pretty short, so we outfitted them with new feet to give a little extra height. Hoops are in good shape and look like a match, but the resonant side is steel and may not be original. The batter hoop is COB and we expect is original. Both show some haze and light pitting. Internal dampener is present and functional.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e8x12 - Oct 64. There are four holes total, indicating the mount may have been moved at some point. Hardware looks to be original and is quite clean, aside from some scratches and very light pitting.
