Definitely has been altered some but still sounding great. This was a Super-Sensitive drum that was then drilled for a more standard throw-off and butt plate. The drum was also painted black inside and out. The badge was reapplied and glued but there is no grommet. The hoops are not the thin 1.6 originals, but some heavier replacements. Some tension rods are original and some are close replacements. Muffler is present. Ludwig butt plate, but generic throw-off (functions well). Features 42 strand snare wires. Matte black paint job is decent with some inconsistencies and marks but generally okay. Chrome is fairly clean with some corrosion on the top hoop and light pitting on the lugs.
