These Champions feature the beech shell that was resurrected for the current Sonor Vintage series and this one is in quite nice condition. Wrap is tight overall with only lifting being on one seam on the bass drum around the lugs on the bottom. The 12 is darker than the other drums. Some glue visible from slight shrinkage at the seams. Hardware is quite clean with very little pitting. Rack tom reso hoops are Sonor but look different than the others. Slotted tension rods were replaced with 1\/4-20 square head drive rods from ST Drums so a regular key works on them. Original T-rods and claws. Bass drum hoops are the famed Ferromanganese ones and are in great shape. Inlay is a litte loose but complete on both hoops. Muffler present and functional in all 3 toms.
